I have been blessed to have grown up in the Great Southwest of the United States. My name is a Spanish version of the name Meshach from the Bible, given to me by my single mother, who knowingly chose the name of someone that was thrown into fire and expected to die.
I live in the great Chihuahuan Desert, where the ground is hard, the insects are venomous, and the plants have swords. The people here are as tough as the landscape but possess soft hearts and a sharp sense of humor. In this sunlit region, folks may have little, yet they share everything generously.
For over 25 years, I have worked as an animator and visual storyteller, creating worlds, characters, and moments filled with movement and emotion. This experience deeply influences my original paintings, where each piece captures a fleeting moment in time, much like a snapshot in motion. My art prints are made for those who love adventure, face challenges head-on, and seek beauty in their struggles. It’s for those willing to look past the thorns of a cactus to discover its sweet fruit. My creations, available as custom art commissions, are painted in my unique style, reflecting the spirit of the Southwest through bold, vibrant colors that embody the intensity and resilience of life in this land.
